The first stage of the entire process is preparing the ground and ensuring it is level , thus clearing site of all debris followed by excavation of top soil which is replaced  by gravel.  The gravel will be compacted into layers so as to create a firm base. Covering the whole surface with a Damp proof sheeting layer  which will prevent plants to shoot through the gaps in-between the pavers. This is followed by an approved  layer of  quarry dust which is then spread and compacted before laying the pavers, followed by A light compactor is run on top of the laid pavers to enhance stability and locking.

Furthermore, the pavers might be painted after laying or they might come in their colours from the manufacturer.

Also, kerb stones are used for edging to client’s requirement.
